Reviews Summary

The Zuloaga Museum offers a unique artistic experience with a notable collection by Ignacio Zuloaga and beautiful surrounding landscapes. While some visitors praise the knowledgeable guides and peaceful atmosphere, others have encountered issues with outdated website information, limited guided tours, and unwelcoming staff regarding access to grounds.

"A nice place from a famous painter. We came walking from Getaria. Outside the house you can make beautiful pictures. Inside the house, we had a quick and fast introduction of Zuloaga, where I needed wikipedia to support me. The guide was only in the first room, the chapel. The 2 rooms after that you had to do on your own, and their you'll see very different pieces of art collected or painted by Zuloaga."

Marcel Douma

"Disgraceful! We walked past, and it looked closed. We visited the website and when we clicked on "visits," there was an HTML 404 error. So we called the phone number listed on Google Maps to ask if the museum was open. A woman answered, completely unwilling to receive visitors because she told us to visit the website. We explained that it was giving us an HTML error, and she replied "thank you" and hung up on us... Disgraceful!"

Anne Barruch

"The museum is interesting, the surroundings are beautiful, and above all, the guide is knowledgeable and very pleasant, making the visit special."
