"I wouldn’t recommend the Kandy Lake Club.
Some of the dances were beautiful, but overall the show felt mostly catered to tourists, which made the experience seem a bit fake.
My personal experience was also disappointing. I’m short, and tall people were seated right in front of me. Although many good seats were clearly available, when I asked to move, I was only offered a bad seat in the corner. Even after the show had started and 40 minutes later, no one bothered to re-seat me. Only after insisting again during the intermission did I finally get a decent seat.
On top of that, the venue was full of bugs, making it hard to enjoy the performance as I was itchy throughout.
Overall, not worth it."
