"Amazing day at the falls, we took a taxi from Ella and hiked from the parking area to the falls.
Tip - the restaurant lady tries to hustle you into getting a guide as there 'are dangerous elephants on the trail'. Once you arrive at the upper falls and pools there is a man selling coconuts, he explained the elephants come to drink at dusk.
The Coco man was great and showed our kids where they could jump and slide to avoid the rocks, really nice bloke.
The falls and pools are great fun and it was a highlight of our time in Ella."

"Absolutely stunning and unforgettable. Diyaluma Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sri Lanka. The hike to the top is an adventure by itself. The views from above are incredible. You can relax and swim in natural rock pools while looking out over the valley below. The sound of the flowing water and the fresh mountain air create a truly magical experience. It's a must-visit for anyone exploring the hill country."
