"Very nice located hotel with a good view on the Sigiriya (Lion Rock). The hotel area is very large and well maintained with a lot of plants and animals walking/flying around.
We stayed in a superior deluxe villa which is large, clean and has a small outside pool which is in good condition. The room is fully equipped with many nice extras (e.g. binoculars for bird watching).
The food was very nice and the executive chef and his team did greatly cover our dietary needs (vegetarian & gluten-free/celiac). We got extra courses not mentioned on the regular menu - thanks a lot.
The service was overall good with the exception of a few waiters making a highly unmotivated impression and not even greeting you or asking if you have any requirement.
