What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Eleda Stadion for its electric atmosphere on match days and its modern facilities. The stadium's role in hosting community events and concerts is also a highlight. Some find the away fan seating uncomfortable, and booking tickets in advance is recommended for popular events.
"We were visiting from the states and were hoping to see a match for our soccer loving son. Unfortunately the team was on break due to World Cup qualifying matches. We scheduled a stadium tour instead and it was so much fun."

"I was only visiting Malmo and decided to come to the match because I love football. Just walking to the stadium I felt a fantastic atmosphere, many families, young boys girls and elderly people joining, which I think was pretty cool. The coolest thing I saw, was during the match a couple of people hired by the club (imagine a nanny/auxiliary) drawing and painting with very young kids DURING the match, while their parents were at their seats. Probably a minor would not enjoy to sit for a full 90+ minutes. What a fantastic idea. Love Malmo, became a fan for life."
Daniel Chaves
"A nice small football stadium, which is located about 30 minutes walking distance from the city center. I can't say anything about food and drinks you can buy there, or the toilets, since I didn't use anything of that. However one star less, because of the sitting option at the away fans section. Made of metal they don't animate for sitting and I guess on cold days you freeze your bottom..."

Experiencing a Malmö FF Match Day
For those seeking the most intense atmosphere, sections 25 and 26 are highly recommended. These areas are situated close to the 'klacken,' the heart of the supporter's section, where the singing and chanting are loudest. Even if you're not a die-hard football fan, the collective energy and community spirit are infectious. The stadium itself is modern and well-equipped, offering good views from most seats.
Beyond the match itself, consider the unique family-friendly initiatives. Some matches feature supervised play areas for very young children, ensuring that parents can enjoy the game while their little ones are entertained and safe. This thoughtful touch highlights the club's commitment to making football accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Eleda Stadion as an Event Venue
These events often have a dual purpose, combining entertainment with a charitable cause. The 'Malmö Tillsammans' event, for instance, donates proceeds to initiatives supporting young people, such as the MFF Foundation. This adds a layer of community engagement to the entertainment, making it a feel-good experience for attendees. The stadium's setup can be adapted for concerts, with the pitch often serving as the main performance area, surrounded by seating tiers.
When attending an event, it's wise to check the specific entry requirements and schedule, as these can differ from match days. Information regarding ticketing, timings, and any special arrangements will be communicated by the event organizers.
Stadium Tours and History
The stadium itself, inaugurated in 2009, is a modern facility owned by Malmö FF. It has witnessed many memorable moments, including the first goal scored by the legendary Labinot Harbuzi. The tour often includes insights into the stadium's architecture, its role in the community, and the history of Malmö FF, complete with memorabilia and trophies.
Stadium tours provide a more relaxed experience compared to the intensity of a match day. They are ideal for families, football enthusiasts, or anyone interested in the venue's history and operations. Booking in advance is usually advisable, especially during peak tourist seasons.
