"A Fairytale Stay by the Sea
I stayed for two nights at this beautiful place for a wedding of my friends and the memory I got from this place is unforgettable! The estate is located so dramatically on the cliffs on the edge of the ocean, the atmosphere feels so calm and luxurious.
The hotel is also elegant and characterful, with well-designed rooms, comfortable and stylish. There are three pools in different places at the estate. The heated pool was a must! Well designed and sized for you to be able to relax and enjoy in this calm atmosphere.
What I would add here to this luxurious location would be to have an indoor spa area with sauna and steam room and perhaps an offer of body and facial treatments etc. The breakfast buffet was large and very tasty, the grounds are immaculate and there are beautiful walks down to the water. The atmosphere was very interesting with a touch of history but at the same time modern comfort.
What also needs to be mentioned is the staff, extremely friendly, attentive and professional, you will feel well taken care of and cared for.
A wonderful place to stay at Maryhill Estate. Perfect for weddings and celebrations or just luxury in Sweden - we would love to come back!"

"We had a fun stay at Maryhill! The many warm pools with great views were definitely a highlight. There are lots of activities to enjoy, and the Mediterranean restaurant at the Sugar Club served really great food.
A few things could be improved: during our visit the sauna wasn’t open (though it looked like one is being built), and we weren’t informed about private/closed parties, which meant not everything was accessible. It would be nice if all guests were welcome to join or at least informed ahead of time.
Overall, a relaxing spot with amazing pools, beautiful surroundings, and good food with just a few things that could make the experience even better."
