The dedication of the volunteer staff, many with personal military experience, is frequently highlighted as a major asset, offering invaluable insights and personal stories. "Incredible museum, with a very complete and unique collection and locations. Run mainly by very dedicated and talented volunteers. Most of them were involved to some degree in the bases in their younger years, so they care deeply about it. We.got to spend some quality time with Jan-Otto, who gave us a very nice description of the collection. Thanks foor taking the time, you made the experience unique. Entrance includes access to the Flyg & Marin section of the Gotlands Försvarsmuseum."

"Interesting museum, nice to learn about Gotlands defence history. Lots to see, many buildings on two different terrains 1.5 km apart. You need to spend and entire day if you want to see and read everything. Lots of information in text (Swedish only). Could use some modernization with more interactive designs, audioguides, virtual reality, etc. Friendly staff.
We also hoped to eat lunch buffet here based on previous reviews, but they no longer serve this. Only a simple lunch, hamburgers or meatballs. Would have been more fun if they would have served real dishes which soldiers get in the field :)"

"Includes plenty of historical vehicles & equipment for the Swedish army. There’s a separate Air Force museum 5 minutes by car that is also included in the same admission ticket."
