Visitors consistently praise the Linnaeus Garden and Museum for its beauty, historical significance, and tranquil atmosphere. The meticulously restored garden and the informative museum house offer a wonderful glimpse into the life and work of Carl Linnaeus. "The garden is really beautiful with a wide range of plant species and it shows a wonderful glimpse of the scientist's life as well. Also, it's absolutely free for Uppsala University students, you just need to bring your university ID card (or some concrete proof that you are admitted to the university as a student)"

Abhinav Ram

"Having lived in the 18th century, Carl Linnaeus is a milestone figure in biological sciences.
The venue hosts his house and a reconstructed botanical garden which he originated. In the house there is a small display on his research and family life + visitors can join a guided tour through the garden. Even though both the exhibition and the garden are rather compact, it is a pleasant, tranquil place not so generic to find in every tourist city.
Uppsala in general may nicely serve as a one day trip from Stockholm: together with Gamla Uppsala, the old cathedral and the renowned university."

Aleksander Andreas

"Small but rich, of completeness and history!"
