"A must-visit cultural heritage site.
A mighty waterfall with rapids plunges down over a length of 800m with a height difference of 48m. The buildings, dating from the 19th century, along the banks once housed industrial mills of different sorts (paper mill, oil mill, stamp mill for textile industry). The water is directed underneath the buildings through several floodgates and exits again a bit more downstream. An impressive sight and sound to behold.
At the top, there is a nice museum, which you can visit for free"

"Cozy historical environment with powerful and scenic views of waterfalls, intermingled with the rusty-colored brick buildings. In every other building you may find interesting museums showcasing how things once were and how it all progressed, from far back to the present with many various objects on display. During festive seasons you may find this area crawling with people, as they buy hand-crafted items or locally produced goods. If you're in the area, even just in Gothenburg (which isn't far away by tram), I applaud you to check it out!"
