What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Svabesholms Kungsgård for its charming hamlet atmosphere, excellent cafe offerings, and pet-friendly policies. The well-maintained gardens and unique shops are highlights, making it a relaxing getaway. However, some guests have noted issues with soundproofing in certain accommodations.
"Just had a wonderful weekend at this place. We loved the fact that the Hamlet is so self contained. The food was excellent and the rooms, clean, warm and comfortable. We also loved that pets are welcome in the rooms and in the cafe. Although very popular in summer, we had a very relaxing winter getaway."
Melany Markham
"Lovely resort with cosy rooms and all amenities you can think about. The main event hall is very nice and the gardens are very well taken care of."
George Enescu
"We stayed at the "Pensionat" and we didn't like it much. The main problem is that the house is so badly soundproofed that you clearly hear everything that your neighbours are saying as well as you'll have the feeling that cars from the street are driving directly trough your room.
We complained about the situation and the staff tried to move us to a quieter room but it's a problem with the house itself.
The rooms are otherwise nicely decorated and clean, the breakfast is great."

Accommodation Insights
However, a recurring point of feedback, particularly concerning the 'Pensionat' building, is the issue of soundproofing. Some guests have reported being able to hear conversations from neighboring rooms and traffic noise quite clearly. While the staff are noted for trying to resolve such issues by offering alternative rooms, the problem appears to be inherent to the building's structure.
For those prioritizing quiet, it might be advisable to inquire specifically about the sound insulation of different room types or buildings when booking. Despite this potential drawback, the overall comfort, cleanliness, and amenities provided contribute to a pleasant stay for many visitors.
