"Somewhat nice trail, especially the part in the west up on the mountains, Vallberget, Tavelsjöberget and Torrberget. Umeå municipality is doing some renovation work on the span, for example, but a much more thorough refresh would be needed. The Kassjövägen - Sunnansjö section is simply poorly maintained. It is not enough to put up "sorry for the mess" signs and then do nothing. How many red guide posts are set up under some tree because they have rotted away. This could be a great "when tourism" or "start hiking" trail but as you can see it is not there now. This is despite the fact that they are extending the trail inside the city and talking about possibly extending it further east."
