"Storvadsbadet is a small beach in a bend in the river Fyris, just north of the burial mounds near Old Uppsala church. It's tiny and it gets quite crowded during daytime with children and families. The mornings are another matter, where you can have the place all to yourself and take a short swim in the river. There are two wooden jetties and a metal ramp for wheelchairs to get in the water. The beach, tiny as it is, provides another point of entry, perfect for toddlers etc."
