What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for health services in Växjö Centrum are highly polarized. While some patients praise the attentive and collaborative care they receive, others report significant issues with long wait times, appointment mix-ups, and communication problems. This suggests a variable experience depending on the specific clinic or department.
"This is the worst health center in Växjö, maybe even in the region.
It takes a doctor at least a month to send out test results from Lassarettet, the same goes for getting a phone call with a doctor."
Mattias Svensson
"If you want to get care, choose another health center.
Do you want your scheduled appointments to be forgotten, EVERY TIME! Or maybe you want to have your problems completely written wrong in your medical record, how about sitting in a waiting room for 2 hours OVER the time you booked and finally having to go and ask why the time you booked is just ignored (which ironically was specifically booked so we would have as much time as possible to go through everything)
Yes then this is the right health center for you!
Edit 5 months later: I hate this health center with all my heart! such a terrible staff that there is no such thing, they have completely lost what it means to have humanity in this place, have been with an injury for 2 years now and they have done nothing to help me, or yes they have been very good at booking appointments wrong, giving the wrong medications, having a spiteful attitude and lacking the ability to apologize when they make a mistake, but I have to treat them all as if they are God the Father himself otherwise I have a "boring tone" and have to leave, yes because it is so easy to be nice when you are at your 75th meeting where you once again ask for help without being heard, I was nice 2 years ago but after mistakes on mistakes on mistakes on mistakes on mistakes from these incompetent people I can't take it anymore, but I can't say that I think they are bad, I can't criticize when they lie to my face because then I have a "boring tone"
hopefully AI will soon take over your jobs so you can get some competent help and a nice welcome for the sake of the unusual, but until then I have chosen to change health center to another place, I would rather take a train for 2 hours to a better health center with staff who actually do something than to stay in this place.
I will not miss your "Tihi oh how crazy it was" in response every time you forgot an appointment or made a mistake with my care.
because it is apparently completely impossible to say "sorry that it went wrong, I take full responsibility for this and will do what I can to ensure that it is not repeated and that it is made right"
Those words apparently do not exist in this place."

"Absolutely fantastic care! I always feel that I get a good treatment and that the staff treats me well as a patient. I feel that the staff listens to me and that we can have a discussion where I can suggest my thoughts about diagnoses and the staff can respond well to these with why it is/is not so. I also received a lot from the health center's psychologist to learn how to live with a psychological diagnosis! However, there could have been a little better signage about where, for example, the toilet was or which waiting room you should sit in depending on who you are going to meet."
