"This is an extraordinary museum and a 'must' visit. Based in the old paper mill it charts the history of paper from making to printing to book binding etc. the staff were great helping to get hands on experience of many of the processes. One of the best visits we have done in a long time."

Daniel Brookes

"It was a great experience at Basler Papiermühle! The combination of history and the practical (do it yourself) experience is unique and outstanding.
Create your own paper while being surounded by old (news-) paper machines and listening to historical facts. You will also see the first 🍏 Mac which was imported to Switzerland in 1984.
It‘s definitely worth a visit in Basel!"
