"We stumbled upon the Saturday morning market and so glad we did. The market was laid out beautifully like artwork. Loads of small independent shops, bars, cafes, restaurants surrounding. I think i preferred Carouge to Geneva city centre!"

"An Italian enclave in Geneva that has a Saturday market. It is smallish but the place has a rather charming little village feel and is a nice break from the City. Market sells mainly food stuff with what seems to be quite a selection of home made items and there are a few restaurants and cafes around that are all quite pretty"

"Carouge is the Italian part of Geneva. There are many trams and buses that connect to that location. I was there in February which I believe is a bit too early at the time of the year as the market wasn’t on. I’m sure this place will be lively during spring and summer. There are caffès and restaurants around for a quick drink and food."
