What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Bündner Naturmuseum Chur for its well-structured exhibits, particularly the geological and fauna collections, and its affordability, especially for families. While the information is primarily in German, the interactive elements and visual displays make it engaging for all ages, with current special exhibitions adding to its appeal.
"A very well-structured museum of considerable geological interest. I especially enjoyed the exhibition on foxes, and the collection of minerals and fossils is impressively large. However, the availability of information in English is limited.."
Mariolata
"We visited the current exhibition about the squirel. It was interestingly displayed and explained. There are a lot of things for smaller kids to look at ( stiffed animals, pictures, videos, nests...) , touch (different furs, horns, skulls...) or for older booklet to solve tasks and quizzes. The text is only in German. But nowadays, it's easy to translate with Google. Upstairs is also more information about local insects, how the alps were created and downstairs about fish.
6 CHf entrance. Kids under 16 and people with Raiffaisen plus or Museum card for free."

"Changing exhibitions every half a year. Currently, there is a squirrel exhibition showing squirrels from birth to full-grown. Perfect for rainy weather since everything is shown indoors. Our visit was amazing. Thank you 🌺"
