"Dear All, I’s a very impressive museum! Worth a visit. Egypt's collection of ancient Scarabs is one of the largest in the world. The museum is located in several premises of the University - we talk with the curator Dr. Thomas S. about Support / Charity for Museum Expansion. We encourage you to contribute to the museum by supporting this special cultural / historical value for all humanity."

"Great place"

"Students and the general public are welcome! I discovered this Museum of the Bible and the Orient. There's a small entrance fee of 6 CHF. It displays 283 archaeological pieces from different regions of the Orient. A couple of them are Torah scrolls. There are original pieces and only three replicas. The pieces on display are related to biblical passages, and although the museum is small, it's impressive to have access to these ancient relics. There are a couple of sarcophagi, one of a peregrine falcon and the other of an ibis, both original. The museum belongs to the University of Fribourg. It's closed on Mondays and open from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM the rest of the week. Don't miss it! Check out the photos!"
