"From Schloss Laufen (best reached by train and has own station), get the lift up to the main castle, take a left down the hill and you arrive at the railway bridge across the river.
You can go under the tracks and back up onto the footbridge.
From there you have great views of the Rhine. Follow the path to the left and there you have amazing views of the Rhine Falls for free. Continue round to the tourist info and then grab a river taxi across to the other side and walk back up to the station."
