What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find the Accademia di Architettura Mendrisio to be a well-regarded institution with impressive modern architecture, particularly the Aula designed by Mario Botta. The campus offers a stimulating environment for those interested in architectural studies, with a notable library and exhibition spaces. However, its somewhat isolated location and potential for limited access to certain buildings during non-academic periods are points to consider.
"We visited the buildings of the Architectural Institute in Mendriso in the middle of summer, so obviously they were all closed which was a pity since we had hoped to see the aula designed by Mario Botta also from the inside. That will be for our next road trip through Ticino..."

"Good facility like many Swiss realities. Fair staff more or less comparable to other university settings. Location a bit isolated."
