What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Centre Dürrenmatt for its unique collection of Dürrenmatt's art, the stunning architecture by Mario Botta, and the breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Neuchâtel. The serene location and the opportunity to explore a different side of the famous author are frequently highlighted as positive aspects of the experience.
"I made a spontaneous stop here after visiting the adjacent botanical gardens. I loved the collection and curatorial style of this museum. A collection of works by Martin Disler (another Swiss artist, contemporary to Dürrenmat) was on display, and they went very well together with Dürrenmat's works in the permanent collection. They both dealt with haunting, mystical topics and figures.
Add to that the great architecture and views of Neuchâtel lake, and you get an outstanding experience."
