What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Ritom Funicular for its unique, steep ascent and the stunning natural beauty of Lake Ritom and its surrounding hiking trails. However, the experience can be marred by inconsistent service, including skipped rides and poorly coordinated schedules with public transport, leading to frustrating waits.
"Niice and efficient ride.
The staff didn't know English."
Yuval Yelin
"Even if it's early in the season, skipping the scheduled times without previous notification is unacceptable service, considering you have to pay 20 CHF for this ride. Because they did not arrive at the scheduled time, we had to wait 50 minutes to come down, which caused a further 1 hour wait for a train connection. Please consider updating the schedule to match the bus and train schedules; and also to clarify any schedule changes during early/late season."
