Reviews Summary
The Thun city center cooperative is praised for its efforts in revitalizing the city through events and community engagement. However, a significant point of dissatisfaction revolves around the IGT vouchers, which have extremely short expiration dates and are often not refunded, leading to financial losses for users.
"I'm very disappointed, and I won't be buying or giving away IGT vouchers, because our daughter received over 400 Swiss francs worth of vouchers and saved them up to buy something bigger. Unfortunately, they got lost in the cold, and when she wanted to redeem the vouchers, she was told they had expired. And that was only after one day. I made about four different phone calls to no avail. At one point, I received the cheeky reply that we should view them as a subsidy for the city of Thun, especially for us parents who already pay enough taxes, and the child who has disability benefits. The final line was, there are new cards that don't expire. But I'm 100% certain I won't be buying or giving these away, either."

"Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed with the organization.
It seems to be the only one where vouchers can expire.
I find it absolutely outrageous and will investigate whether this is actually legal."
Thomas Krebs
"At the city center cooperative, you can buy vouchers that can then be redeemed in (almost) all shops in Thun's city center.
But be careful: the so-called IGT vouchers have an expiration date, and the city center cooperative is unforgiving. Once they've expired, they're expired, and they don't give you a single cent back. I lost almost 500 Swiss francs this way, and I know many people have had the same experience. A truly sad, customer-unfriendly, and, above all, self-enriching cooperative."
