What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Gambarogno Botanical Park for its stunning floral displays, particularly the vast collections of camellias and magnolias, and its beautiful lakeside views. The affordable entry fee is frequently highlighted as excellent value for the experience. However, some find the terrain challenging due to inclines and uneven paths, which can be difficult for strollers or those with mobility issues.
"We arrive and I thought there’s someone will guide and shows us around but unfortunately there is no one and place is open we didn’t know where to start and there’s no map to show us where’s the flower + we have a baby with us can’t walk with the stroller 😅 overall the place is beautiful but with us we can’t manage becuase there’s so many up and down and places it’s dangerous to hold the baby and walk around 😅💔"

"This is a very neat and beautifully created botanical garden, full of local and exotic plants. They all grow in nature in this very special Ticino climate.
The entrance fee is CHF 5 per adult, kids were free. This turns out to be a great price because the garden is actually quite large! Our stroll in the garden took at least 30 minutes and we didn't even cover all the paths. Well done garden, beautiful nature, exceptional price. Nice to have such a positive surprise once in a while in expensive Switzerland!"

"You can buy plants here, they are not cheap, but there is a decent choice. The botanical garden has a very numerous variety of camellias and magnolias. Certainly worth seeing, but it's not very exciting."
