Nice hikes in Switzerland reachable by public transport
Hi, I live in Lausanne and I don't have a car. Could you suggest me some nice hikes that are reachable with public transportation? If too far from Lausanne, I am open to spend a night in an airbnb/hotel. Thanks!

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Grottes de Vallorbe for its stunning natural beauty, particularly the impressive rock formations and the underground river. The well-maintained paths and informative app enhance the experience, though some note the significant number of stairs. The surrounding forest also receives positive mentions for its scenic appeal.
"Very cool formations, but a lot of stairs - I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for people with bad knees. There is a beautiful river that flows right next to the area, and in the cave.
If you stop by the shop, an ice cream was 3.90, and coffee / hot chocolate was 4-5 chf. I attached a photo of their menu. You don't have to go through the cave to access the shop. :)"

"Great experience (especially as a Dane who never saw caves like this before). Used the app but just for reading facts, as we forgot headphones for the audio guide (can be recommended though). The app is free to download and really gives some extra to the experience."
