"The neo-Baroque Villa Sträuli at Museumsstrasse 60 in Winterthur was built by Dr. Hans Sträuli at the beginning of the 20th century. After his death, his wife, following her husband's will, built a cultural center in the villa.
This villa has a wonderful bistro, open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. When the weather is nice and warm, the terrace and the beautiful garden are also open.
I recently had dinner here. The ambiance is fantastic, the staff very friendly, courteous, and attentive, and the food on the beautifully presented plates tastes wonderful. Reservations are recommended. I've been there before without one, and the bistro was fully booked."
