What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Zurich Airport Observation Deck B for its thrilling close-up views of aircraft and family-friendly amenities like the playground. The educational exhibits and convenient access are also highlighted. Some find the on-site food and drink prices a bit high.
"Decided to travel over from the UK for a day to take photos and videos for my you tube channel. Took a while to find it and get through the security checks, free to enter if you have a boarding pass if not a small charge of 5 Swiss Francs. It was a nice warm sunny day and it did get very busy, great for the kids to get up close to the aircraft, and maybe get a wave from the pilots. Depending on the wind direction on the day and runways in use you can get some great shots of the action both on the ground and the aircraft landing and taking off."

"Popular place to see an airport in motion. Could be a little bit crowded at times, but still a very nice place to see airplanes and groundhandling in action. It has a small restaurant which has a handful of different dishes, sandwiches and beverages. There is an airport themed play ground for children too! A free, internal bus service that connects Observation Deck B with Observation Deck E is also available."

"Perfect place for kids day trip. It's a covered playground so it's not hot even during heatwave days. Just bring your own water because the price of 1 small bottle was almost 6 francs in the Resto adjacent to the playground. Love watching the planes movements .Overall a perfect place for your little one's learning and physical activity."
