"Absolutely stunning natural scenery! The gorge is breathtaking with its turquoise water and rock formations. The only downside is that it’s quite short. Even if you take your time, you’ll be through in about 20–30 minutes. At the far end you can choose an alternative path back to Zermatt, which makes the trip more enjoyable"
Bernd Weiß
"A wonderful canyon to visit with children.
It is quite short so the walk through takes about 10 minutes.
However, on the way to Zermatt through the forest, there is a beautiful path with many small playgrounds and activities for kids."
Oleksii Kravchuk
"“If you’re really ’sporty’ Julika said (from wonderful Hotel Daniela) then this gorge is really fun with a guide.” Icy, snowy… spectacular. Took us 4+ hours and then we had to walk into town. Bring warm tea, chocolate and a snack. Oh, and hand warmers!!!! Hot chocolate at Batten is your payoff. Note- “sporty” in Switzerland is next level. Not for people with fear of heights either!"
