Reviews Summary

The Antalya Manuscript Museum is a relatively new, compact archaeological site offering a unique experience of viewing excavated graves. Visitors appreciate its historical significance and the modern architecture built over the ancient grounds. However, the payment method (cash only in Lira) and a desire for more detailed exhibit information are common points of feedback. Reddit+1

"New museum. Since 2023. The city Antalya did it and the ministry of culture is running it. Big surprise!
A small museum with only 3 exhibition halls with sarcophagus."

Zafer Tuncay

"Interesting smaller archaeology museum, easily reached from the city centre. Tickets were 200 lires each, cash only. The museum is built over the gravesite, there are 3 main museum rooms to visit, then you go downstairs to view the excavated graves. A few signs dotted around about a few of the graves excavated, would have liked to see much more information though overall. Still interesting to spend an hour or so visiting if you're a history lover! (And there are toilets on the lower level)"

"Built on top of the excavation area with steel structure. A nice stop for history and architecture lovers."
