While some wish for an audio guide, the overall consensus is that it's a worthwhile and affordable visit.
"It's just amazing. We arrived in the morning, there was no one there. The parking lot is big, free and open. They didn't speak English inside, but we easily bought tickets. The exhibition is not big, but the exhibits are just excellent. The impressive statues of the Roman period just sank into my heart. There are also marble statues, a sarcophagus, coins and much more. All the exhibits have a good description in English. The entrance is only 3 euros - it's just super for such a small price."

"You can use your museum card, then it's free. In this museum you can see different artefacts collected from the nearest ancient cities. In the entrance please pay attention to the map that presents ancient cities (earthed and unearthed) of the region. I loved the museum.
I wish there was an audio guide there"

"This is a modern museum, which hosts the latest finds from the Aydın region attributing and classifying them according to the standards of modern scholarship and presenting them in an attractive way for the general public. A must see for everyone interested in the ancient history of the region. Great contrast with the outdated and stuffy Izmir museum."
