"This was my first time in Turkey, and we chose this hotel because of location, reviews and the pictures are amazing. Oh boy! We were in for a surprise! This is not a hotel but a motel! The most disgusting place I have ever stayed in my life! Everything is disgustingly dirty! We arrived around midnight and were very exhausted so we noticed the moldy and cigarette smell and the dirty bathroom. But it wasn’t until the next day that we noticed the stains all over the mattress! The bathroom was so small that when I tried to reach my leg to wash it, I couldn’t and hit my knee on the faucet! We made the staff aware of our issues and they told us that they know about it! No apologies. Didn’t even attempt to give us another room or something!
Please, save yourself the trouble and Do Not stay at this place!!"

"The location and rooftop are amazing. It as unique hotel. What I find disappointing is the fact that they keep birds in cages on bottom floor and several have died given that guests have given them chocolate, etc. I think they are trying to create an old vibe with the bored cages, but it seems sad and depressing. I wish they would stop keeping birds such as parrots in those little cages:"

"This is one of my favorite places to have a drink in Beyoglu- the terrace is lovely and so is the bar on the main floor. They could use a bit more variety of drinks, and maybe some food? -it would be great if the terrace was open already on nice evenings!! (March now.... it usually opens in May I think?) So much history and amazing decor. I hear it's even haunted..."
