"The atmosphere of the place in very pleasant and when the musicians play, people dance across the yard. The food and drinks were ok but nothing overly special. A pleasant place."

"We travelled around eastern Turkey with Alkans Eastern Turkey Tour visiting Göbekli Tepe, Karahan Tepe, Nemrut Gods, Nemrut Crater, Van and other Neolithic and Prehistoric sites. Amazing. Enroute we stopped here with Will Lord Prehistoric Survival Expert for our second breakfast of the day and tea. This is one of my favourite Hans and we weren't disappointed."

"An authentic han in Urfa, Mesopotamia. The 16th-century Ottoman inn is restored, clean, with kind staff, where you can serve a good breakfast or a meal. Try the local coffee with candy. It is just amazing. The inn is more peaceful than the other famous inn in the city, Gümrük Han, where usually the locals gather. Both are very nice and ‹‹ a must to see ››, but Barutçu Han - I think - is more suitable for tourists, because is not so crowded."
