Since the city is located at the top of a hill, the views along the way and especially at the summit are absolutely stunning. The entire route can be completed in about an hour, and it’s a great mix of history and nature.
Be sure to wear proper shoes — sandals or slippers can be quite challenging due to the rocky terrain. Also, there are no shops or vendors nearby, so bringing water with you is highly recommended.

"Incredible ancient city perched on a hill top above Üzümlü, near Fethiye. Trees now grow through the ruins. The amphitheatre is an amazing spot and the views are breathtaking. Marvel at how they sustained an ancient city in such an inaccessible spot. A must visit though not the easiest place to get to if you don't have a car as it's a 2 1/2 hour uphill walk from Üzümlü (though taxi can be found in the town - some Turkish helps)."
