"Amazing Spot - Must visit if you are into history
Unfortunately it is open to public- and you can enter at any time. We came with our yacht and swam here. It was such a unique experience to see and feel the history.
Avoid coming during the tour boat times they start like 12-5 pm it is like a circus so you cannot take the secluded pictures.
A little history of the spot:
Cleopatra’s Baths, the ruins here were possibly brought down by a previous earthquake in the region. According to the legend, Marc Anthony built a Roman Bath at this very spot for Cleopatra as a wedding gift and even had the golden sands transported here from Egypt. This place was picked because they had found a hot water spring supplied by the thermal waters of a crater lake found behind one of the mountains north of the bay. Legend says that the queen visited here just after marrying Marc Anthony on what would have been their honeymoon. Time has stood still here and you can swim and refresh yourself as Cleopatra did over 2000 years ago."

"Spend some time snorkelling over the spot where Cleopatra herself used to bath. The once majestic baths were built in this particular bay because of the thermal waters that come from a volcanic crater north of the bay. Here the waters are clean and fresh and legends say bathing in them is how the ancient queen became so beautiful. Whether that is true or not you are sure to love swimming in this stunning location.
Urban myth or not, the day tripper boats makes the better time to visit early morning or late afternoon. Other than join in with the massives! It really becomes a bun fight over the ruins. Snorkeling in the stirred up silt, even if you do snorkel you look up to find someone about to jump in the water on top of you. Seek out the great picture for your memories....along with the hordes all smiling back at you.
But at least there's no entry fee!!"

"Wow, what a great find! Apparently baths built built by Mark Anthony for Cleopatra. The idea that Cleopatra could have bathed in the very same area where you are snorkeling is a real thrill.
The area does get very busy and the area is fairly small. However going here for photo’s alone is great. My family were in instagram heaven. It is easy to get to the baths if you have a small boat. Otherwise you need to walk for 25 min."
