What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunningly beautiful, albeit very cold, natural pools and the adventurous canyon experience. The affordable entry fee is a major plus, though some find the optional boat tour pricey. The natural beauty and unique swimming opportunities make it a must-visit for nature lovers and thrill-seekers.
"It's a rather big canyon with coldish water running throughout it. There are various activities you have to pay a fee for (like rafting, zip line, boats, canyon viewing). But you can also pay a much cheaper fee to go in without paying for the activities and just swim in the lake.
There is also many hiking grounds and rather expensive cafés and ice-cream parlours.
Still, I would recommend going at least once."

"Very beatiful place. I would recommend taking canyoning instead of boating. It costs a bit extra, and you have to start in really cold water, but it became warmer later, and you can go up to the small waterfall. You have to use lader, so its not suitable if you can't handle it."

"Amazingly blue water in the midst of smoothly worn rock formations. Come prepared for cold water if you try the canyoning experience. Also, the trail wasn’t fully open this early in the season and we needed to trim back after reaching an impasse. Amazing nonetheless!
We also had our first gözleme after our cold swim. The family running the food stand took great care of us. They literally gave us their own coats for us to warm up and had us stand by the gözleme grill to warm us up! Such wonderful hospitality to the crazy tourists willing to hop into the water in April!!!"
