Walking through Konya, you can feel Rumi’s spirit in every corner. The Mevlana Museum isn’t just a historical site — it feels alive with poetry, prayer, and the gentle rhythm of whirling dervishes. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down, breathe deeply, and listen inward, as if the city itself is whispering Rumi’s timeless words. #skvlogturkiye #syedkaramatsubhani #pakturk

Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Ince Minare Museum for its stunning Seljuk architecture, particularly the intricate stone carvings on the entrance and the iconic minaret. While some note the interior exhibits are primarily stone artifacts, the overall historical significance and beauty of the madrasa make it a highly recommended stop in Konya. The affordable entry fee and proximity to parks are also appreciated. Reddit+2

"If you like fine arts and love architecture it is a must to see these fine stone carvings survived many hundreds of years until now. This building used to be an university where education and living was free for every student. Payed by the foundation where they were also work in administrative positions. Getting experienced in work as well while studying.
It is interesting to know that the Selçuklu Empire had carvings of fantastic figures such as sirens, double headed eagles, phoenix and angels as well as hunting and animal figures. They took over a big part of the Eastern Roman Empire and developed."

"Although it is pretty similar to the other madrasa north of alaaddin park, and the other one has more artifacts to admire, i give this one a higher rating because of the impressive architecture on the outside of the archway at the entrance door and the mineret next to it. Other than that, it is mainly just stones inside. The entrance is 20 lira so you can always check it out."

"October 2023

The Mosque was closed on the day we visited and looked like it's been closed for a while. The carvings on the entrance are beautifully intricate. We stared at it for a good 10 minutes to take in the beauty.

Accompanying minaret was strangely right next to the entrance.

Mosque is adjacent to Kulture Park which is surrounded by hundreds of shops, restaurants, cafés. A very pleasant walk."
