What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
İnlice Beach is praised for its beautiful, calm waters and unique dark sand, offering a lovely natural setting. While the free entry and parking are appreciated, some visitors find the rental prices for sunbeds and umbrellas high. The beach can get very crowded with locals during peak times, and environmental concerns regarding litter have been raised by some.
"The sea and beach are beautiful. In windy weather, waste can come with the current. Food and beverage prices are reasonable. 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella 300 TL, vehicle entrance 100 TL"
Hakan çelik
"A very pretty little bay with a few sailing ships and fishing boats. The sand is dark volcanic which is a surprise. There are a few walks from the bay around the coast and into the forest for views over towards Gocek. There are a lot of people camping or with camper vans by the beach edge. The toilets and cafe are closed because of the dispute between the local council and others. But there was very little litter when I visited in mid September. A quiet place to hide away and chill out"

"Nice beach with warm water, mild waves, and sun loungers. The loungers are overpriced and it seems much more favourable to sit on your own towels or chairs. The beach has very course sand and pebbles."

The Unique Charm of İnlice Beach
As a public beach, İnlice offers a more authentic local experience. During peak season, it transforms into a lively hub where families gather with their own grills, music, and ample provisions. This vibrant, communal atmosphere is a significant part of its appeal for many visitors seeking a genuine taste of Turkish beach culture.
While the natural beauty is undeniable, it's worth noting that the beach's popularity means it can get quite crowded. However, the free entry and parking contribute to its accessibility. For those seeking tranquility, visiting during the off-season or on weekdays is highly recommended.
Navigating Amenities and Local Etiquette
A key aspect of the İnlice experience is understanding the local etiquette, especially during busy periods. The beach is a popular spot for locals who often come equipped for extended stays, complete with large grills and picnic setups. This creates a lively, communal vibe. It's also important to be mindful of the environment; İnlice is a habitat for endangered sea turtles, so respecting wildlife and keeping the beach clean is crucial.
Visitors have noted that while public showers are available, they are sometimes used more like outdoor baths, with suds running directly into the sea. This highlights the need for collective responsibility in maintaining the beach's natural state. Despite these points, the beach is praised for its natural beauty and the opportunity to witness sea turtles.
