"İskender Pasha Mosque is located in the neighborhood of its own name in the Sur district of Diyarbakır. It was built by the Governor of the city, İskender Pasha, between 1551 and 1554. İskender Pasha Mosque is mentioned as a work of Mimar Sinan in Tuhfetül Mi'marin, where the works of Mimar Sinan are compiled. It looks very beautiful like other Mimar Sinan works in Diyarbakır. Although the building appears to be a single-domed structure at first glance, it has additional spaces on the sides and a peaceful garden. Passing through a small arched door between the streets, I found myself in its garden, a very beautiful mosque with cats in its quiet and peaceful garden. I recommend you visit."
