What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Kaleiçi is widely praised for its stunning beauty, historical charm, and vibrant atmosphere, with visitors loving the maze-like streets, artisan shops, and welcoming locals. Some find it a bit touristy and suggest it's best visited once, while others are captivated by its unique energy and desire to return.
"Antalya – Kaleiçi
There are beautiful cities… but Kaleiçi is more than a city.
It is a feeling a gentle, glowing energy that surrounds you the moment you walk through its old stone streets.
In the heart of the old town, time softens, and your steps become lighter.
Wooden doors, white walls, small artisan shops that carry the soul of their owners…
and the warm smile of every local who makes you feel like a welcomed guest, not just a passing visitor.
The spirit of the people here is remarkable:
joyful, light-hearted, genuinely hospitable.
They offer help with a smile and make sure you leave with a better impression than you expected.
And the coffee in Antalya… that is another story.
A cup sipped in a narrow alley, beneath a jasmine tree or next to a window overlooking the ancient walls
it feels as if the whole city pauses to celebrate that moment with you.
The markets of Kaleiçi are a world of their own:
the sound of hammered copper, the scent of handcrafted leather,
the hidden boutique hotels,
and the vibrant colors of spices and handmade art that give this place an identity like no other.
Antalya is not just a destination…
Antalya is a feeling.
A place that leaves a soft light in your heart
and makes you want to return again and again."

"Kaleiçi Old Town was absolutely beautiful and very clean. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to explore. We visited in autumn, and the weather was perfect—not too cold—so we could still enjoy eating outdoors comfortably. I'd recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes, as it can get a bit warm during the day and slightly chilly at night. The location is central and was very close to our hotel, which made it super convenient."
