Many shops are vacant but the clothing ones seemed very nice."

"We visited the pier to access a restaurant, so I'm not sure what to actually give the pier as a score. Mark, part of our party, has challenged my 5-star reviews, so I'm awarding 4-stars. Very good wc, and you can walk to the far end to look out over the sea. Lovely views. A useful flyover walkway takes you back over the main coastal road to town."
