What is now called the library building next to the impressive main mosque is on a slightly different alignment and hint at being an earlier Byzantine church building. This is supported by the individual re-used possibly Roman column and cap stones supporting the entrance dome. The whole complex is possibly the best tourist site to visit in Eskişehir."
