What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Nallıhan Bird Paradise is praised for its stunning, otherworldly landscapes and rich birdlife, offering a peaceful escape from crowds. However, some visitors find it less suitable for picnics and note issues with mosquitoes and early morning access to observation points.
"We went there on the month of May but disappointed it is not good for picnic and kids. Far away can see few birds flying. Just spend half an hour and wrap it off because of mosqitoes they will bug you a lot.
Road is good and easy to go!"

"Another hidden gem that does not get the attention it deserves. This is a bird sanctuary that is next to lake and river. The views are breathtaking and there are over 200 species that habitats this area. Of course we did not see all of them. The good thing is that this place does not get promoted, so it is not full of litter and people, so we were able to truly enjoy the nature. A definite must see."

"It is a nice park with many different species of birds. Generally it does not attract many visitors. Entrance is free. There are a couple of nice observation decks. Could be a nice spot to cover. However, I think the main beauty of the area are the Colorful Hills of Nallihan and the hidden Clay Valley both are visible from the Bird Sanctuary and are easily accessible. Despite the hunt ban, locals hunt birds excessively."
