What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the breathtaking panoramic views of the Golden Horn from Pierre Loti Hill, especially during sunset. The historic cafe and the scenic cable car ride add to the charm, making it a popular spot for photography and relaxation. Some find the cafe prices a bit high, but the overall experience is widely considered worth it.
"This is the most overrated place ever! Don't waste your time going there, it's an overcrowded and dirty place on top of a graveyard hill, and the view is quite meh, there are more beautiful places in Istanbul to visit! The tram (cable-car) is a 1 minute ride, with a view of graves, for which you should stand in line for more than an hour on a normal day! And the cafes on top are crowded, everyone smoking heavily, and the service/quality is just bad & overpriced as hell. So if you want to waste half a day for a view of graveyards in a crowded smelly place, go there lol"

"What can i say it was on my wishlist and definitely worth the wait for the Telefrik for almost an hour to reach there , everything despite the crowd was really good (Food , Service , View , Prices) I had the Guzleme and coffee .. I enjoyed every moment at pierre lotti , authentic and historic place ❤️🥰"

"Very nice peak overlooking the Golden Horn. You could see nearly most of hidtoric Istanbul from out there. Restaurants offered medium quality food yet expensive. So be aware not to order much. The queue on the cable car was around 2 hours until you manage to go up and around 30 mins to go down. And during rush hours it go longer. So put that in your timing when you go visit the place."
