Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Istanbul's rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant atmosphere. The Bosphorus cruises and free walking tours are highly recommended for their informative and engaging experiences. However, some reviewers note that certain recommended spots can feel like tourist traps, and customer service can be inconsistent. Reddit

"We did a free walking tour around Sultanahmet with Erdem, and it was amazing. I would absolutely recommend it — it’s a must-do in Istanbul. Even though the tour lasts about 2.5 hours, it only covers a short distance, and Erdem manages to share an incredible amount of information along the way. If you’re not able to walk long distances, this is a great option.
Tip: the guides prefer cash in euros (€) or dollars ($).

If you have the time, you can also join their boat tour. The information is fine — it feels a bit less authentic than the walking tour — but it’s a relaxing experience and a great way to see the city from the Bosporus. You disembark on the Asian side, where the extra tips and insights you get are fantastic. Following Pinar’s recommendations, we went back later in the week and didn’t regret it."

Merthijn Roggeveen

"Walking tour was great 8/10

But the recommended places from the guide were more like sponsored adds of tourist traps than genuine local tips.

Bosphorus sunset tour was 10/10

Hot air balloon 4/10

Reserved also hot air balloon through them, but the agent attitude and service was not welcoming at all - she said she was doing a favour with despective manners.

They also reassured that with no issues they would reimburse money - but it was necesary to chase them to have this condition fulfilled.

I would recommend looking for another agency, unless you're limited to Spanish only tours/staff.

PD: cash payments only also brings the general review down"

"We had the pleasure of seeing the historical sites of Istanbul with Pınar.
What a fantastic half day we had with her. She was so well informed, so professional and hilarious. She also gave us advice on what to be on the lookout for and was just a wonderful host for the tours. Cannot recommend the service she provided enough. Thanks again Pınar"
