"One of the Byzantine leftovers in Istanbul.
Not sure why, but it seemed closed. It was very sad that the surrounding of the whole building was being used as parking garage. Other than those, the building is in good shape, probably recently restored and looks beautiful."
Can S. Arat
"The exonarthex has three domes. All of these were originally covered with mosaics, traces of which survive. The best preserved is the image of the Theotokos with Child Christ. Even though it was closed and the interior wasn't available, the small windows allowed some sneaky pictures. Amazing 😍!!!"
