What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Yeşilkent Beach offers shallow, scenic waters but is marked by a rocky, sharp shoreline and limited public amenities. While beautiful, access to sunbeds is often restricted to residents, and visitors should be prepared with their own gear and water shoes. Some find alternative beaches with better facilities to be a preferable option.
"The seawater is very dirty and rocky on the shore. The stones are so sharp that you can't walk. The sea remains shallow for a long time. When there are waves in the wind, the dirt is thoroughly washed ashore. There are sun loungers and umbrellas belonging to the complex residents on the beach. Using them from outside is prohibited. The attendant wanders around, refusing to let you use them. The complex purchased them by collecting fees. The attendant also cleans the beach. They say you can set up your own umbrellas and chairs on the beach, but it's very cramped. There are no showers or toilets. I'll leave it to your imagination where people urinate. There's a beach belonging to the police station a short distance away, with an entrance fee of 300₺; it's much better. Alternatively, the beach at the Gaye 1 complex, with restrooms, showers, and a restaurant, might be even better."

"The entrance is rocky, there is no public beach, the sun loungers belong to hotels and sites."
