What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the CMP Block Museum of Arts for its stunning architecture by Kengo Kuma and the highly interactive String and Net exhibition, which evokes childlike joy. While the online ticket pricing and duration are favored over on-site options, the overall experience is considered unique and visually rewarding, offering a memorable artistic adventure.
"I have to admit, I was a bit put off that the on-site ticket for the String and Net exhibition is 30 minutes compared to the online ticketsโs 40 minute block. On top of that, the online tickets are cheaper. My guess is that they are pushing people to buy online, but even then, make the experience the same length, considering that the 30 minutes is broken into 8 minutes of putting personal belongings away, 2 minutes of orientation, and 20 minutes of play.
That said, I really enjoyed the interactive and immersive installation. Walking and crawling on the nets is not as easy as I imagined. Itโs a bit painful for those who donโt climb on nets often, which I imagine is most people. lol. But the novelty was appreciated and I would still recommend it. Itโs fun, it makes for good visuals, and as a middle aged man, there are less and less moments in life that make one feel like a kid again. My kids - 3 and 7 - loved it, and didnโt want it to end, but thatโs life. You get 20 minutes kid.
The building itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed. I look forward to visit again in the future."

"Nice spot ruined by InstaTok-ers obscuring place with meaningless poses, empty expressions and total alienation. Being in their personal photo space is unnerving. If I was the architect of the space that created the social dynamic I would fill it with wild boar or bees or goats just to liven up the place. Pay to go in to see an advertisement though I did manage to get inspired."
