What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Luodong Night Market, often calling it the best in Taiwan, surpassing even Taipei's offerings. They praise the high variety of food, fair prices, and lively atmosphere. However, some find it overwhelmingly crowded, and a few warn about potentially rigged claw machines.
"This is the best night market we've been in taiwan, better than any in taipei. High verity, prices are fair, friendly people, lively area. Don't miss it if you're around!"

"Actually pretty nice, but the claw-crane toy vending machine stores are a plain rip-off. Not only direct the claws away from the hole, after jerkily stopping at the top. The claw also opens directly after reaching the top. Getting something there is only possible, if something gets stuck or jammed at the claw - but then you need to shake machine, when it reaches the base over the hole - but then you need to shake the machine so it can fall off.... 😒"

"This night market offers, like many other in Taiwan, many vendors that sell all kinds of snacks, drinks, stuff and games.
In the morning the night market looks again so clean and all stalls are shut.
The street will have in the morning all kind of fruit and vegetables vendors like a morning Market in Taiwan."
