"Taoyuan airport mrt was under construction only small entry if I walked from hotel near ( Taipei station worst station ever Z exits no escalator or had elevator but closed entry on street). It's better to walk from hotel directly to mrt as of April 17,2025 price is 160 NT can top up on ipass or Easycard tap and go. Train was super crowded."

There are endless food and drink choices with shopping malls connected.. There is also a couple of travel agencies, a food court, ATM machines, 7Eleven (to buy bus cards), and a pharmacy.
I felt safe riding the subway. Their subway system is color coded so it’s easy to understand. Just ask if you need assistance."
