"Jianqing Historic Trail
I was incredibly lucky today—the trail showed its most magical side. I started the hike in thick mist, barely seeing anything, and then suddenly the clouds opened up. Blue sky and mountain ridges appeared all at once, and it felt truly breathtaking. Just a moment later, everything shifted again and I was surrounded by drifting fog like walking into a fairytale.
The trail is short, but the changing clouds, the quiet cypress forest, and the remains of the old logging railway make it full of character. Experiencing such real, rare beauty here made the visit absolutely worth it."

"First time visiting 太平山 in Taiwan in the chilled weather of January. It has an amazing scenery especially during sunset ~ it seemed the clouds were just within reach ☺️
Mountainous place so must wear the right shoes as the floors/grounds were wet from the dew on the highland. Most monuments were already old and worn out without proper maintenance.
May visit again but not during summer 😅"
