"You must come to this night market for the "popcorn pork." I ordered it thinking it was popcorn chicken. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. It was by far the best fried food I had my entire trip. The meat is well-seasoned and tender. The batter is perfectly 酥 (crispy, although I think the English word doesn't fully capture it). Note there are bones, but I think that adds to the flavor. The woman working the stand is very friendly. I later found out my Taiwanese cousins come to this night market specifically for this stand."
